Artist's Emporium is my go to for art supplies. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to make my shopping experience absolutely awesome. I was there with my young son today, and the ladies there helped me with everything from carrying my cart to distracting my son with markers and crayons so I could keep shopping. Fun and friendly place to get all the art supplies that you need and didn’t know you needed! Helpful staff eager and willing to help get you those things too. If they don’t have what you need in stock they will order it for you and let you know when they come in. They offer great courses too. I’ve done some in watercolours and drawing and really enjoyed them. The instructors know their stuff and love to share their craft.

I got a large 5’x5 1/2’ canvas stretched and framed there. I have had this painting for the last 10+ years loosely pinned to my wall, I finally decided to take the plunge and do it properly. The framing guy who does this work did an incredible job. It looks brand new, the colours seem more vibrant now. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I highly recommend them.

Took a Pet Portrait class from Vern Schwarz. There were 5 of us women in the class and I feel everyone took home a unique masterpiece. When I showed my sister my painting she remarked “This guy really knows his stuff”. I feel my painting is the best one I have ever done. Vern also demonstrated a new way to sketch and his examples of his drawings were amazing. Loved the class!
